Five sign up for 'Bottle Shock'

Alan Rickman will star in 'Bottle Shock.' © Solarpix / PhotorazziVariety reports the movie is set during the 1970s when the industry was just emerging. It is based on the true story of the Montelena Winery, which won an international wine-tasting competition and boosted the region's reputation for wine production.

Randall Miller will direct from a script he wrote with Jody Savin, based on an original script by Ross Schwartz. Filming in Napa and Sonoma is set to begin next month.
