Rod Lurie set to direct Valerie Plame film

Rod Lurie is set to direct 'Nothing but the Truth,' a drama that mirrors the real case of CIA agent Valerie Plame.

Variety reports Lurie's film, which he also scripted, will follow a female reporter who outs a CIA agent and is sent to prison for refusing to reveal her source.

Production is due to start this October and Kate Beckinsale, Matt Dillon, Vera Farmiga, Alan Alda and Edie Falco are all in talks to star.

Marc Frydman will produce.

Warner Bros. also have a Plame film in the pipe and Lurie hopes to have his ready before that one his released.

making one with a cia desk jockey that uses her influence to get her sugardaddy a sweet assignment which he can use as political leverage to harm a sitting President of the United States.Plus you can have her pretend to be a 007 secret agent and if things don't work as planned she can claim someone gave her up and investagate everyone.....Wow she wins either way--gets the political damage she is looking for---sugardaddy gets a good paycheck---and she gets to retire early with full pay----what a win huh????
