Fox 2000 set Carney for 'Town House'

Fox 2000 have tapped John Carney to direct the Doug Wright-scripted comedy 'Town House.'
Variety reports the film will follow the son of a deceased rock star who has funded his reclusive lifestyle by selling of his father's memorabilia. When the items run out he is forced to sell the house his dad left him and in the process come to terms with his own life and the parenting of his teenage son.
Scott Free will produce and production on 'Town House' is due to start in January 2008.
