Antonio Banderas sets up new Spanish talent shingle

EPA/ZIPINuevas Cineastas Andaluzes or NCA will focus on new directors, scriptwriters, art directors, directors of photography and other film professionals from southern Spain.Green Moon executive producer Antonio Meliveo said “"We're launching the new brand because we believe in the talent from our region."We're looking to promote fresh filmmakers from our Andalucia (region of Spain)."NCA will also produce one film a year. The first, Javier Gutierrez’s ‘El verano de la roca’ a co-production with Seville based Maestranza.“Verano,” which is financed at $2 million is set to stat shooting the end of July. Pic will star Eduard Fernandez and Victor Clavijo.
