My students and I could hardly wait until the end of the school year and the opening of Bruce Willis' film 'Live Free...'. We were not disappointed. A action film that was smart, engaging and kept the audience on high from start to finish. In the theater the audience was like a close knit group, much like that feeling of an audience at, oh let's say the last concert I attended with my daughter, Stevie Nicks and the Greek.

We all enjoyed this fantastic film like we were all familiar with 'John' and each other. Not a dull moment, and I think we were all waiting for the trademark of John talking to himself. We literally laughed and cheered when he did. That characteristic was the hook for me in the first 'Die Hard' movie. 'Come out to California, have a few drinks, we'll have a few laughs'. This is what made John so human. It was a happy audience that felt that this film met every expectation. Well worth the ticket price, finally! The length and effects of the film, GREAT!

I don't agree with the 'tanked' reference. School is out and parents took their kids to a movie. As a teacher, I can vouch for the approval and delight of the 'Live Free...' movie. Bruce Willis is as always, one of THE BEST actors around, and around he'll be for a long time. Mr. Willis is not a cartoon character, he is a supremely magnificent actor, man and father, match that!
