Jim Carrey to get Sober

Jim Carrey is set to star in Universal’s ‘Sober Buddies.’
Andrew Kurtzman, a writer for Saturday Night Live in the ‘80’s is penning script about a hard-partying software exec assigned a court-appointed “sober buddy” to keep him under control during a critical business trip to Las Vegas. The perfect plan falls apart when the sober buddy (Carrey) falls off the wagon.
Kurtzman is also working on DreamWork’s ‘Mr. Peabody and Sherman’ pic based on the Jay Ward cartoon characters.
