I was really scared...that this movie would never end! This movie stinks.

I'm an avid reader of Horror. Some early King (Needfull Things is his best), some early Clegg, some early Koontz...They all need to get out of the house more. And get really scared again!
Maybe the short story was good but the movie was dissappointing. Very dissappointing.

Why was the room haunted?

Where was the history behind the haunting of the room?

So like hollywood these days he 'won' (over what?), by setting the room on fire?
Give me a break.

It was all about the 'author' and his lost daughter...and the wife he left behind?

Short stories seldom make movies. And it didn't work either.

Why the Carpender songs?

Did Karen Carpender starve to death locked in the room?

Di9d she look in the fridge as he did only to see her brother eating a big fat chicken leg?

I give this movie the 'sixth level of hell' rating.
Thumbs down.
I'd take an older Richard Laymon book anyday over this destined for obscurity crap.
