Hilary Swank's bloodthirsty role

Hilary Swank will fight vampires in her new film 'Fangland'.
The Oscar-winning actress is rumoured to be playing Evangeline Harker, a TV producer who is sent to Romania to research legendary criminal figure Ion Torgu with gruesome consequences.
The movie is based on the John Marks' novel of the same name, which itself is a modern interpretation of Bram Stoker's 'Dracula'.
Marks is a former editor of US current affairs show '60 Minutes'. Fictional TV show 'The Hour', which features in his book, is said to be based on his own experiences.
Swank's production company Accomplice Films, which she set up with ex-husband Chad Lowe, recently bought the film rights to the book.
It is not yet known when filming on the horror project begins.
