WB to bring Frank Miller's 'Ronin' to the big screen

If you liked Frank Miller’s ‘300,’ you’re going to love this.

Back in the early 1980’s, Miller, a comic book auteur wrote a comic miniseries called ‘Ronin’ – about a Japanese samurai warrior set in a futuristic New York. A demon stalks the city and the ronin sets off to kill it with a mystic sword.Warner Bros. Pictures has now acquired film rights to ‘Ronin,’ putting Sylvain White (‘Stomp the Yard’ ) at the helm and attaching one of the producers behind the Miller adaptation of ‘300,’ Gianni Nunnari on ‘Ronin’ as well.While no screenwriter has been attached, a treatment White wrote is being used as a base.
