'300' tops MTV Movie Awards

Los Angeles - The Spartan epic, 300, is the leading nominee for the MTV Movie Awards, with five Golden Popcorn nominations, it was announced Monday.
Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest, with four nominations and Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan, are the other top contenders. All three films will battle it out for the best movie prize, along with the ice- skating romp Blades of Glory and the dark comedy Little Miss Sunshine.
Sacha Baron Cohen, the star of Borat, is up for three individual prizes: Best Comedic Performance, Best Fight and Best Kiss, the same three nominations as Will Ferrell.
Meryl Streep and Jack Nicholson are both up for the Best Villain prize. Dreamgirls co-stars Beyoncé and Jennifer Hudson will compete for Best Performance along with Johnny Depp (Pirates), Keira Knightley (Pirates), Will Smith ('The Pursuit of Happyness') and Gerard Butler (300).
The awards show will be broadcast live for the first time ever on June 3 and will be hosted by foulmouthed funny lady Sarah Silverman.
