Clooney and Pitt to team with Coen brothers on ‘Burn After Reading’

George Clooney as a CIA agent? And Bratt Pitt as…well we don’t know yet because Joel and Ethan Coen aren’t talking about their new movie ‘Burn After Reading.’ We do know that George and Brad will team up in the new spy black comedy about an agent who loses a disc containing a tell-all book he’s been writing about his work and life.Joining them will be Joel Coen’s wife Francis McDormand.Script was written by brothers Coen, their first original offering since 2001 when they also teamed up with Clooney on ‘O Brother Where Art Thou?The Coen’s also worked with Clooney on ‘Intolerable Cruelty,’ (2003).Before “Burn” start of production in LA in August, Clooney, Pitt and the Coen’s will meet up at the Cannes International Film Fest mid May where Clooney and Pitt will be preeming their ‘Ocean’s Thirteen’ and the Coen bros. will see their crime drama ‘No Country for Old Men,’ via for the Palme d’Or.Pitt’s partner Angelina Jolie will join him on the Red Carpet as they premiere ‘A Mighty Heart,’ in which Jolie plays Mariane Pearl, widow of Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl who was murdered by terrorists.
