24 film postponed
Mar 31, 2007, 11:00 GMT
Kiefer Sutherland has revealed the '24' movie has been postponed.
The actor, who plays counter-terrorist agent Jack Bauer in the hit series, insists the cast and writers can't cope with shooting the TV shows and a movie back-to-back, so the film has been sidelined - for now
He said in an interview with Maxim magazine: "We've been trying to do it. It's impossible to ask the writers to work as hard as they do on the show and then come up with an amazing film that we can go and shoot in the break between series. It's not long enough to do that, either.
"I think, realistically, as much as we want to do it - and we really thought we could in the breaks - I think it's going to happen when the TV show is finished."
Kiefer admits he can't wait to start work on the big screen version of the show, and is immensely "proud" of his most famous role.
He added: "Certainly, to this point, I'm very proud of it. Jack is a character that I am definitely proud to be identified with."

This certainly is one of the best, most exciting shows ever brought to TV.
The acting and writing is second to none!!!!!!!
