Adult Swim's 'Aqua Teen Hunger Force' is scheduled to hit movie theaters on April 13, 2007. Written, produced and directed by Matt Maiellaro and Dave Willis, the movie will be distributed by First Look Pictures and marks the studio's initial theatrical foray into animation, as well as Adult Swim's first feature under the Williams Street banner.

'Aqua Teen Hunger Force' is an action-adventure epic that reveals the mysterious origins of Meatwad, Frylock and Master Shake. When an immortal piece of exercise equipment threatens the balance of galactic peace, it is up to the Aqua Teen Hunger Force to run away from it. Peril escalates when the Plutonians team up with the Cybernetic Ghost of Christmas Past to strive for ultimate control of the sinister deadly device.

"Never before will the silver screen be engaged in such a celebration of animation," said creators Maiellaro and Willis simultaneously and in unison.

"Aqua Teen" was written and produced by Matt Maiellaro and Dave Willis. Reprising their roles in the big screen movie are Maiellaro (Err, Cybernetic Ghost of Christmas Past); Willis (voice of Carl, Meatwad and Ignignokt); Dana Snyder (Master Shake); Carey Means (Frylock); and Andy Merrill and Mike Schatz (The Plutonians). Guest stars Bruce Campbell and Neil Peart of power trio Rush lend their voices to the movie.

'Aqua Teen Hunger Force' is an original comedy series that is part of Adult Swim, Cartoon Network's top-rated late-night sister service which presents programming six nights per week.

"Aqua Teen" had its series premiere in September 2001, when Adult Swim launched. More than 60 episodes of the series have been completed. The latest season aired through January 2007.
