Warner Bros. knows when it has a good thing. The WB and '300' director Zack Snyder are teaming up again to produce a Zombie action thriller ‘Army of the Dead’ based on an original story written by Snyder.
Snyder has yet to confirm he will direct. Jopy Harold will write script.
Set in a futuristic Las Vegas, "Army" revolves around a father who tries to save his daughter from imminent death in a zombie-infested world. “Army” brings Snyder back to his 2004 ‘Dawn of the Dead’ remake – Zombie roots.
Snyder told Daily Variety that he wants "Army" to have a sweeping, epic quality, along the lines of the highly stylized "300."
"I feel like there hasn't been a zombie movie on the scale that we want to do it," Snyder said from the Bahamas, where he is shooting a commercial.
