Is Daniel Craig going for 'Blindness'?

Daniel Craig is in talks to star in Brazilian director Fernando Meirelles’ (‘The Constant Gardener’) ‘Blindness.’
Starring along side Julianne Moore, the man that we know as Bond, James Bond will play an entirely different role in Nobel Prize winner Jose Saramago’s novel being brought to the big screen.
Movie is about an epidemic of blindness that cripples an unnamed city and pushes contemporary society to a stand still.
Focus Features International is producing. No release dates are available as no distribution deal is yet in place.
