Pierce Brosnan: 'Mamma Mia!'

Irish actor Pierce Brosnan is poised to join Meryl Streep in the movie version of the popular ABBA musical "Mamma Mia!"
The Hollywood Reporter states Brosnan will play the main father figure.
The premise is around a bride-to-be played by Amanda Seyfried and her once rebellious mother, played by Streep, who raised her on a Greek island and never disclosed the identity of her father.
The bride locates three men who may well be her dad and invites them to her wedding.
The musical will feature dozens of ABBA songs, including "Dancing Queen," "Take a Chance on Me" and "The Winner Takes It All."
Phyllida Lloyd is directing for Universal Studios; ABBA members and songwriters Benny Andersson and Bjorn Ulvaeus will serve as executive producers, with Playtone Company's producer, Tom Hanks too.
Brosnan has "Butterfly on a Wheel," which he also produced coming soon.
