Diaz and Barrymore 'Old Acquaintance'

Sky News reports that former "Charlie's Angels" co-stars and BFF's Drew Barrymore and Cameron Diaz are considering working together again on a remake of the classic 1940s Betty Davis film, "Old Acquaintance".

Miriam Hopkins, Gig Young, John Loder and Bette Davis starred in the original story about an ever increasing rivalry on various levels between a novelist and her long-time friend. Established author Kit inspires hometown pal Millie to pen a trashy novel, published with Kit's help. Millie's husband Preston leaves her. Ten years of Jackie Collins-esque tomes later, Millie tries to reconcile with Preston.

"We had a ball together on Charlie's Angels and have been looking for a script ever since. We think this looks great", Cameron tells Sky News.
