The latest news from Daniel Radcliff.
An official release on Daniel Radcliffe’s website, has informed all who were curious that he will indeed finish out the entire run of "Harry Potter" movies as the title character.
“I am pleased to inform you that it has been confirmed for us by Dan's Publicist that Dan has, in fact, signed on for the last two "Harry Potter" films. Dan will begin filming in September on 'Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince.' He has also signed on to return and reprise his role as Harry in the very last film, 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows.' This will "mark a place" in history for Dan and fulfill his wishes as he stated more than three years ago that he would like to portray "Harry" in all of the films.”
Hollywood Studio Warner Bros. producers of the franchise, told the BBC that Radcliffe was 'very much looking forward to starting filming' the sixth film in September, according to UPI.
'Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix,' the fifth movie based on J.K. Rowling`s books, is due in July while the final film, 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows,' is not expected to be released until 2010.
Daniel Radcliffe has most recently been seen on the London stage starring in "Equus."
