Benicio Del Toro takes bite out of The Wolf Man

Scott Stuber and Mary Parent are producing the remake of the classic Universal Studios monster, which now has Benicio Del Toro attached to star. THR states Del Toro also is on as a producer with Rick Yorn.The movie will closely follow the 1941 original, a man returns from the U.S. to his ancestral manse in Victorian England, gets bit by a werewolf and begins his new hairy life.Production is schedule to commence in the fall. Scribe Andrew Kevin Walker penned the screenplay."Mark has a great love and knowledge of film," Stuber said to THR. "He's a great and authentic storyteller. He looks for the truth in the characters, the scenes and in the set design. It's going to be exciting to see what he brings to the horror genre."
