Angelina Jolie as Bond? Maybe

Casting musings for the James Bond franchise: Angelina Jolie has revealed to contactmsuic.com that Bond would be a coveted role for the already savvy to action and espionage siren of the screen.
Jolie revealed that if the lead role as Bond was not feasible, she could step into the role as a villainous vixenish foil to 007.
"I'd love to be a Bond villain or the first female Bond," Contactmusic quoted her, as saying.
Jolie was considered for the role of Bond's love Vesper Lynd in 'Casino Royale'. However, her pregnancy hampered her casting. Lynd went to French star Eva Green.

angie would make a great 007. and even better as the villain.
yeah, i agreed! angie would be a perfect role as a female bond and/or even a villain. the girl is hot, sexy and a great actress!!!!!

Well, there were talks years ago about having a female version of Bond as Sharon Stone. Angelina Jolie would be an interesting choice to play a female Bond. Doesn't a person have to be British born to portray Bond anyway?
I think that Angelina Jolie would have been perfect for the part of the hot russian devil woman Bond villainess Xenia Onatopp in 'Golden Eye' (1995). Why wasn't she considered for this role?
A male 'M' was replaced with Dame Judi Dench why not a female version of Bond?
