Brad Grey Oscar producers credit has 'Departed'

01/15/2007 - Brad Grey and his wife- Paramount Pictures 2007 Golden Globe Award After-Party - Beverly Hilton Hotel - Beverly Hills, CA © David Gabber / PhotorazziThe Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences on Thursday upheld a previous decision by the Producers Guild of America (PGA).It means just one producer of the four listed on the film's credits, the British-born if "The Departed" win the award, academy spokesman John Pavlik confirms.In a statement, Grey says, "I loved working on The Departed and will always think of it as one of the best times of my career."Other "Departed" producers not allowed on stage are Brad Pitt, his company, Plan B Productions was involved in the movie, and the director, Martin Scorsese.
