Scorsese to do Departed prequel & sequel?

A remake of the Hong Kong film "Infernal Affairs." Leonardo DiCaprio, Matt Damon, Jack Nicholson and Mark Wahlberg star in Martin Scorsese\'s new crime drama "The Departed." "The Departed" is set in South Boston where the state police is waging war on organized crime. Buoyed by his Golden Globe victory director Martin Scorsese is talking about a prequel and a sequel to ‘The Departed’ just like the original HK ‘Infernal Affairs.’
In an interview to MTV.com, Mark Wahlberg said, "I'm fascinated with that [gangster] world, but I'm from that world. I didn't really think that the rest of the world would respond like it did. We really didn't know what to expect [when we made it]."
Wahlberg let slip that Scorsese may also be talking to Robert DeNiro to play a part.
The Departed starred Martin Sheen, Leonardo DiCaprio, Matt Damon,Mark Wahlberg,Jack Nicholson, and Alec Baldwin.
