Timothy Olyphant gets his revenge, plays good-guy in Hitman

Timothy Olyphant generally plays the bad guy. As Seth Bullock in the HBO series “Deadwood,” and in the soon to be released (July 7) ‘Die Hard 4.’ But now, Olyphant has been tapped to star in ‘Agent 47’ to be directed by Tyro Xavier Gens and produced by Luc Besson’s Europa Corp.Olyphant will play (good guy) “gun-for-hire” Agent 47 who is hired by a group known as "The Agency" to kill targets for cash.Movie is scripted by Skip Woods and based on the “Hitman” video game.Fox is backing pic and like its game namesake, sees franchise potential in the movie – proven by a multi-pic deal for Olyphant.Production is slated to begin in March in Europe.
