Will Smith's new film, "The Pursuit of Happyness" has entered the UK box office at number one. Smith appears with his own son Jaden, and his touching film jumped straight to the top of the box office on its opening weekend, according to Screen International.

"Happyness" is gut wrenching portrayal of a down on his luck salesman in early 1980s San Francisco.
Now in second place is the Stiller comedy "Night at the Museum," an adorable family movie that featured the on-screen chemistry of Stiller, Owen Wilson and Robin Williams.
"Smokin' Aces," the fast paced Jeremy Piven starring tale of Buddy "Aces" Israel who has agreed to turn state's evidence against the Las Vegas mob debuted at three.
Zellweger's "Miss Potter," the biography of children's author Beatrix Potter, came in at four.
Oscar-hopeful Forest Whitaker as former Ugandan dictator Idi Amin in "The Last King of Scotland, which has netted him a Golden Globe award, came in at five.
The money making Daniel Craig Bond blockbuster "Casino Royale" was next, followed by the breathtaking adrenaline rush "Apocalypto," the Mayan adventure epic directed by Mel Gibson.
