The Sean McNamara directed "Bratz: The Movie" project for Lionsgate has taken ex choreographer and pop star Paula Abdul, recently of "American Idol" fame, to play a part in producing the live-action film.
Lionsgate’s official press release states Abdul has joined the creative team of Bratz: The Movie, a live action feature film, and will serve as an executive producer on the project, and will “play an integral part in several key creative areas, including music, choreography and fashion.”
Lionsgate also states Abdul will work “closely with the director, producers and casting director to discover fresh talent for the film.” Paula will also play a major character in the movie.
Paula stated, “I am extremely excited about working on this film, which incorporates and celebrates so many of my passions, from music, dance and choreography to fashion and design..as a brand, Bratz™ encourages young girls to follow their dreams and express themselves.”
The film is slated for an August 17, 2007 US release.

that is so out of order, bratz are a well loved toy for children of all ages, me included my daughters love them more than barbie. if you dont like them well then thats up to you isnt it. but there is no need to call them that.
HAHAHa, call them wat!?? SLUtZ!!? they ARE they are little dolls teaching girls to become just likeTHAT when they're older.. they might as well just sell them a guide-to-be-slutty along with the little dolls!!
Their lips are supersized, their noses nonexistent and don't even get me started on the clothes...
They are made in China by women forced to work 13 hours a day 7 days a week earning 4dollars/day.
Being small is no longer enough you apparently have to have a pair of botoxed lips, fixed nose and clothes fit for a hooker.

Bratz should be renamed to SLUTZJan 13th, 2007 - 17:59:49
I can't believe that kids are able to pick up these toys at any local drug store or toy store and then emulate the slutz to their heart's content.
I'm no christian, nor conservative, but these toys are sickening. A movie could only mean more preteens trying to be slutz.
