HOLLYWOOD, Ca. (M&C) - After a successful four-week theatrical engagement in the Northeast, Big Screen Entertainment Group has announced that it is continuing the domestic roll-out of its new action-comedy, 'Forget About It.'

The stellar cast, in addition to Academy Award-Nominee Burt Reynolds and Raquel Welch, includes Academy Award-Nominees Charles Durning and Robert Loggia, as well as Richard Grieco and legendary comedienne Phyllis Diller.
'Forget About It' is currently being offered to both domestic and foreign outlets for further theatrical distribution by Showcase Entertainment. Showcase has already brokered numerous deals in various foreign territories, including Canada, Greece, Hungary, Brazil, Romania, the Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Latin America, the Middle East, Poland, Turkey and Russia.
Interest in the film, a cross between 'Goodfellas' and 'Analyze This,' has been substantial.
BSEG and Showcase are also in the process of placing 'Forget About It' in other media outlets, especially on television and home video and DVD.
“Burt’s and Raquel’s fans have been clamoring to see the film, and we intend to make it as widely available as possible,” said BSEG President David Zappone. Showcase expects domestic sales to be strong.

The Stephen Eckelberry-helmed film 'The Mirror' is in the final stages of completion. The thriller stars Kelly LeBrock 'Weird Science,' 'Lady in Red') and Thaao Penghlis 'Mission: Impossible,' 'Days of Our Lives').
An early version of the film, which was recently screened in Connecticut and Maryland, has met with overwhelmingly positive reviews. More screenings for the film are scheduled this month at Raleigh Studios in Los Angeles.
BSEG CEO Kimberley Kates and President David Zappone are in the process of putting together a film fund that will be financing BSEG’s pictures over the next three years. The fund will be a joint venture with a private equity group. More details will be announced in the next several weeks.

Exactly who measured, and how was the success of Forget About It measured? Don't believe what you hear readers. The movie flopped 'Big Time' in Waterbury, CT (which the article refers to as the Northeast). What other engagements did the movie have in the 'Northeast?' The only reason it was even given a chance is because Big Screen Entertainment Group has some hometown connections in Waterbury, CT. I thought it was the worst acting I've seen.
