The online survey was posted at Fandango during the last week of December 2006, when several thousand moviegoers voted for the actors most likely to draw them to the theater.Seizing the top spot for most anticipated male performer in 2007 is Johnny Depp, as Captain Jack Sparrow, in the third installment of Pirates of the Caribbean (at #1), followed by box office reliables Will Smith in the sci-fi action-adventure I Am Legend (#2), Tom Hanks in the political drama Charlie Wilson's War (#3), Denzel Washington in the crime drama American Gangster (#4), and The Bourne Ultimatum's Matt Damon (#5). Leading the pack as the most anticipated female performer is Reese Witherspoon, slated to appear in the 2007 political thriller Rendition (#1), followed by Sandra Bullock in the supernatural thriller Premonition (#2), Julia Roberts in Charlie Wilson's War (#3), Pirates' Keira Knightley (#4), and Drew Barrymore at #5 (for her two movies in 2007: the comedy Music and Lyrics and the drama Lucky You).
