Norbit fights for PG-13 rating

Eddie Murphy, hot off of "Dreamgirls" has a new project waiting in the wings for release, 'Norbit.'
The Brian Robbins directed comedy centers on Eddie who plays a average Joe who is engaged to a harridan who subsequently meets the perfect woman he desires, and figures out to find a way to be with her.
Variety reports that Paramount Pictures and DreamWorks have lost their initial bid for a PG-13 rating, and will continue to work with the MPAA ratings board to secure the saleable rating..
'Norbit' earned an R rating on its initial submission to the Classification & Rating Administration board for "some sex-related humor" reported Variety.
The film, which also features Thandie Newton, Eddie Griffin and Cuba Gooding Jr,, opens pre-Valentine's day in February.
