British actor Ian McKellen EPA/DANIEL DEME“Stardust” was shot all over the scenic United Kingdom, from Wales, the Cotswolds and Norwich England to Argyll, Scotland, and all points in between. The film centers on a young man who promises his beloved that he will retrieve a fallen star, and ventures into the faerie world, where he encounters talking animals, gnome like creatures, witches and trees under evil spells.Ian McKellen will join Claire Danes, Robert De Niro, Michelle Pfeiffer, Sienna Miller, Charlie Cox, the not seen enough Jason Flemying, and Ricky Gervais in the vibrant cast.The Paramount released film is scheduled to open July 27, 2007.
