Hollywood machinations: Actress Victoria Beckham?

Friendships count for everything in Hollywood whether formed during soirees, shopping, or perhaps even Scientology.
Victoria Beckham, wife of footballer David and former Spice Girl, apparently has comic talents that have inspired powerhouse Tom Cruise to discuss making England’s most watched WAG Posh make it big in Hollywood.
Victoria’s shopping partner in crime and Cruise’s wife, actress Katie Holmes , is reportedly exerting her influence in Hollywood as well.
Hollywood.com quoted a close friend of Holmes as saying: "Katie thinks Victoria has a real future as an actress but she wants her to start at the top. She's anxious to introduce her to every major power player in town. Homes is trying to set up a meeting between Victoria and director Steven Spielberg.”
"She and Tom may not have the power to create a new star by themselves but they know who does."
An unnamed source close to Holmes tells the UK Daily Star Sunday, "Katie thinks Victoria has a real future as an actress--but she wants her to start at the top.
"She's anxious to introduce her to every major power player in town. She and Tom may not have the power to create a new star by themselves but they know who does," reported the tabloid.

Surely you jest? Although Victoria Beckham and Scientology do have one thing in common. They are both ridiculous.
