Lindsay Lohan gets into character for newest stripper role

Actors need to do their homework when prepping for any role.  Lindsay Lohan is no different, and has taken up pole dancing for an upcoming film,   Allegedly, Lohan has learned the painful downfalls of being a stripper, the New York Post reports.

According to the Post, Lohan has been tutored in the stripping arts by consultant Sheila Kelly, for the film "I Know Who Killed Me," directed by Chris Sivertson, where Lohan takes on the role of topless dancer named Aubrey.  The film is produced by Frank Mancuso, Jr. and lensed by DP, John Leonetti.

The story centers on Aubrey Fleming (Lohan), a woman who is rescued after being abducted and tortured by a serial killer. When Fleming arrives home she claims to be a different person. This poses questions as to whether she is suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder or if something more sinister is afoot.

The Post reprinted an alleged Lohan e-mail sent to friends titled: "They're all whores, they're all whores . . . xcept for some obviously!"

In excerpts printed by The Post, Lohan said, "So . . . 3 hours of pole dancing and bruised. everywhere . . . I mean we're talkin' like, UPPER AND INNER THIGH ACTION-bruised . . . like a walking black-and-blue mark.

"I mean really though, really, I didn't know it was actually possible to have bruises in such areas of the body. Strippers dude, I tell you, I really respect the (c-word)s now. . . I'm not gonna lie to ya," Lohan allegedly penned via email.

"Her character is a stripper, and she now realizes that the job isn't easy. We should give these women credit," Lohan's publicist told the Post.

"When the shoot is over, she is going to focus her attention 100 percent on staying sober and building a more fruitful life," a source told the newspaper. She is considering moving back to New York and leaving behind "the toxic L.A. scene with all those toxic people."

Filming is scheduled to take place after Christmas in Los Angeles and San Luis Obispo, California.
