George Clooney and Renee Zellweger are Leatherheads

What do George Clooney and Renee Zellweger have in common?

They are staring in the romantic comedy ‘Leatherheads, a 1920’s football flic being produced by Universal Pictures. Clooney wrote script with Steven Schiff and will be directing.
John Kasinski, star of NBC’s ‘The Office,’ is in negotiations to join Clooney and Zellweger.
Smoke House, Clooney and partner Grant Hesloy’s producing shingle is producing.
Film is slated for a Spring 2007 start.
