Michelle Yeoh ups for two new flicks

Michelle Yeoh, the darling of Asian action flicks has signed on for two new movies. Headlining with Vin Diesel in Fox and Canal Plus’ ‘Babylon A.D.’, Yeoh will play a nun who becomes a caretaker to a young girl who might be infected with a deadly virus caused by gene manipulation. The movie is an adoption of Maurice Dantec’s novel “Babylon Babies” Fox and Canal Plus have tapped Mathieu Kassovitz to adapt novel and direct the $60 million thriller which is expected to start shooting in November.But first, Yeoh starts filming this week in Asif Kapadia’s $10 million ‘True North’ where she will play a woman whose lonely life is disrupted by a soldier.No releases dates were announced for either film.
