Jim Carrey & Cameron Diaz reteam for Consequences

Focus Features is retooling the French 2004 ‘A Little Game Without Consequences’ for the American big screen.
They have tapped the comedic team of Jim Carrey and Cameron Diaz (‘The Mask’) to co-star in the feature which follows Brad and Claire, a seemingly perfect couple who pretend to break up shortly after their firth anniversary, only to discover most of their friends and family didn’t really like them as a couple in the first place.
The movie will be directed by Italian director Gabrielle Muccino (‘The Pursuit of Happiness’) based on the French play by Jean Dell and Gerald Sibleyras.
Filming is to begin in New York City, October 2006.
