Morgan Creek revives Ace Ventura

To prove that movie franchisees never die (they just go on hiatus), it is being reported that Morgan Creek is interested in reviving the escapades of Ace Ventura on the big screen.
Now Jim Carrey fans don’t get too excited as there is no word if the rubber faced comedian will sign up. However the trades are saying Morgan Creek are battling to bring him to the table to reprise the role he created in 'Ace Ventura: Pet Detective' and 'Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls'.
Serious venture this as scripters Jeff Sank, Justin and Jason Heimberg have been tapped to write script.
Movie is said to revolve around Ace’s son who wants to follow in his father’s footsteps.
No director or cast has been assigned.
