Paramount Pictures open Beowulf official website!

Paramount Pictures have opened up the official site to their upcoming movie adaptation of Beowulf. Robert Zemeckis will take to the directors seat on Beowulf and it has been proposed that the film will follow a similar style of CG animation of which The Polar Express was created. Beowulf is released around the world from November 16th, 2007.

I saw the 'Beowulf and Grendal' starring Gerard Butler the other week and I have to say I was more than impressed.

I look forward to Zemeckis's take on Beowulf. Loved The Polar Express.

As I remember from English class the story wasn't written, but some kind of lengthy poem or song that was passed down by word from the 300 A.D. or so...
