Lucy Liu becomes “femme fatale” to Cillian Murphy’s film noir buff character in ‘Watching the Detectives’ which starts shooting July 17th in New York.The romantic comedy is being produced by Plum Pictures in association with Hart Lunsford Pictures. Freshman director Paul Soter is directing.Murphy’s character is turned upside down when Liu provides more adventure than he ever experienced.Liu next will be seen in ‘3 Needles,’ ‘The Cleaner’ and ‘Rise.’ Murphy stars in ‘The Wind That Shakes the Barley’ and ‘Sunshine.’
