Weinsteins takes Spring Break in Bosnia

Bob and Harvey (Weinstein) are backing ‘Spring Break in Bosnia’ scripted and helmed by Richard Shepard (‘The Matador’).
Jesse Eisenberg, Richard Gere and Terrence Howard will star.
The light hearted thriller follows two journalists (Gere and Eisenberg) who head to post-war Bosnia on an unauthorized mission to locate the region's #1 war criminal. Problems arise when their target mistakes them for a CIA hit squad and decides to bring the chase to them.
Weinstein Co. is handling distribution in North America, Australia and New Zealand.
Production is scheduled to begin this summer.
