Jackie Chan's new laffer ''Rob-B-Hood' is almost in the can ready for an October 2006 release.
Chan's latest movie is being helmed by Benny Chan ('New Police Story').
Jackie Chan plays a gambling-addicted thief who, alone with two other crooks (Michael Hui and Louis Koo), kidnapped the infant grandson of the richest woman in town (On-On Yu).
The original plan was to hand over the baby to a gang leader (Zhang Tielin) for some quick cash, but the middle man is unexpectedly detained by the police and the three kidnappers have to deal with the baby by themselves.
Somehow, the little hostage warms their hearts and they decide to do the right thing against the gang leader's orders.
