Brad Pitt is about to launch a World War.

Paramount Pictures reportedly acquired screen rights to the yet to be published Max Brooks novel ‘World War Z: An Oral History of the Zombie War ' which they have asked Pitt’s Plan B shingle to produce.The book describes a world war fought against humans infected with a virus that caused them to die and be reborn as flesh eating zombies.Screenplay was so ‘hot’ it sparked a bidding war between Paramount and Pitt and Warner Bros and Leonardo DiCaprio’s Appian Way shingle.Paramount won after shelling out a high six figures.
