Spielberg gets spacey
By M&C News Jun 15, 2006, 13:01 GMT
Steven Spielberg busy in transitioning the DreamWorks studio to a Paramount production shingle is beginning to get spacey.
He is partnering with Caltech physicist, K.S. Thorne, an expert on relativity to develop a space travel story about a group of explorers who travel through a worm hole into another dimension. Thorne believes that worm holes can be portals for time travel.
Spielberg wants to direct with Lynda Obst producing for Paramount.
But before he blasts off into space, Spielberg is looking to helm the forth installment of the Indiana Jones franchise with Harrison Ford reprising his role.
Spielberg is also talking about an Abraham Lincoln epic based on a book by Doris Kearns Goodwin. He has already tapped Liam Neeson to play Abe Lincoln.
