‘24” star Kiefer Sutherland (Jack Bauer) has announced on a popular British TV program that a full feature ‘24’ movie will be filmed in the UK.

Sutherland was interviewed on the 'Jonathan Ross’ program on the BBC network.

"We’re working on that, we’ll shoot the film here,” answered Sutherland when Ross asked if there were plans for a movie.

Sutherland went on to say, "We're really excited about it. In the US ‘24’ was slow to catch on, but in the UK it was big so Fox stuck with it, so thank you Britain."

The Kiefer Sutherland interview was seen on the Jonathan Ross show on Friday evening, May 5th.

In other '24' news, Sutherland is reported to have signed a multi- million dollar, 3-year deal for the popular TV series.  He will continue to play agent Jack Bauer while picking up an executive producer role on the Fox produced show.

39 year old Sutherland has also expressed intrest in bringing his 'The Sentinel' co-star Kim Basinger onto the '24' series cast.

The actor won a Golden Globe award and four Emmy nominations for his performance on 24.

He can be seen in 'The Sentinel' which opens in the UK on September 8, 2006 and he takes on the character as the respected lion leader, Samson in the animated 'The Wild' which opens in the UK on May 26th.
