uh cool, i guess it is difficult to make a book. You have so much you are takeing to mix them together is all ready hard and to created in the from you want worst, good lock in that!
Sorry. But like most people I can't wait for Eragon to come out. Chris P was homeschooled just like me and I am sorry if we are smarter than you. He graduated from high at 15 and I am sure that gave him enough time to write the book. Eragon is going to be a big hit especially if it is going to have 3 movies just like LOTR... And to Anonymous... Maybe because he's so young to be an author, maybe he wrote something everybody has comed to like... Unlike other authors.
I'm done here, Daniel. I don't feel like arguing anymore. Good luck with life and all that!
Thankyou and well I guess Im done here as well. I think these is caind of late and you may never read these but well same to you good lock with life and your book and if you remember well, well atleast something about us, me and nobody or who ever name was in pag. 10-11 would you put or names in for who page in your book( the page in with it saids for who you dadicate the book). You dont have to but well it I at least would remember somethink about these place and well good bye to you and everyones alse.
I was supposed to read this in 6th grade, and once we started reading, everyone in my grade immediately loved it. They seriously were bent on having more. Kids loved it so much one of my teachers showed them an Eragon site where they could go.
Truth is, I didn't finish the book. Don't ask why, but it had nothing to do with the style of the book. It was too long for me in too little a time to finish it, plus all the assignments and tests that came with it. I liked the book fine for what I read of it, and I really wanna see a trailer. If anyone knows where I can find one online, please post it.
Eregon rocks i dont care wat ny of u losers like anonymous think.
1: Anonymous, nameone book that Eragon plagurized (yeah, thats right, I know how to spell it, amazing, homeschoolers actually know something eh?) 2: Christopher Paolini was HOMESCHOOLED, thats why he didn't 'attend' school. 3: Even if Eragon DID plagurize any books, what 'classics' didn't plagurize Beowulf?
i agree with the almighty
The gayboys at fox have knocked the trailer back another god dam week.

anonymous will you shutup .. how many books have you read that a boy flys around on a dragon and kills orcs with ancient languages? yea so he used dwarves and elves? many books and movies use those.. do you know why? it's because everyone knows what they are and immediately know what is evil and good.
Most of this is original work, the only copied thing is the elves and dwarves which have been used in many books and movies as i mentioned earlier.
I bet if u made a book with many different races you would copy off books and legends so don't criticise him because he copies 2 things.
Is this the spiderman chat room
Actuall you spelled it wrong it is spelled plagiarized, but anyway. He stole a lot of the plot design from Star Wars. He used Similar names from LOTR, on Characters that had similar roles from LOTR. The Hype it gets will eventually bite him in the ass when someone who actually watches the film and sees their work being plagiarised. I hope he gets sued and am amazed no one has yet. Probably the only reason why is this is viewed as the childrens book, most adult readers don't know of the book unless they are parents.
I also feel bad for the screenwriter who has to adapt this into a screenplay, I bet they feel like hitting their head against a brick wall.
There's one thing that really pisses me off about these books- besides the complete rip-off plot, the under-developed characters, and the agonizing dialouge. It's just that this Paolini guy is so full of himself. Not only does he lack the experience and eloquence that mark a good author, but he stubbornly overlooks all that and views himself as some prodigy (unfortunately, that's what the promotional media makes him out to be). It's a problem that comes up a lot in amateur work- the author is determined to imitate popular media, so they exaggerate everything on an epic scale. And of course, he gets so engrossed in the 'action' that he never ends up putting in anything meaninful. The book ends up coming across more like a poorly-written screenplay than a novel. To be honest, I have higher hopes for the movie than I do for the books... at least now the project is in experienced hands.
I have read both the books and am looking forward to this movie
Ahahaha! Suckers. His Book Is Popular. Nothing You Can Do About It. And The Other Authors Should Think More About Emotion And Feelings Of The Characters. I Read A Book A Week Ago. And It Had No Dialogue And That Made It Boring. The Author Of This Pictured What Young Teens Want And He Went For It.
Does it matter though? Really. Think about it. If it sucks so much, why'd he sell so many copies? Besides, every book starts off somewhere, even if it must take ideas from something already created. Not every book, but most. In fact, almost everything on TV is taken from something or another. They will all take ideas. But nobody notices. So why now do you care?
Okay, as far as Anonymous saying that Christopher Paolini never went to school, he or she is incorrect. Being homeschooled does not mean you never went to school, or that you are of an inferior mind. I am homeschooled, and I can tell you that I and many of my homeschooled acquaintances are much more intelligent and are worked harder by our parents than all my friends who attend school. Christopher Paolini is a very intelligent person, and he should be proud of the fact that despite all bias against homeschoolers, he pulled ahead of the world's standard and overcame it. I will inform you all that we are not weirdos who are out of style. Many people, almost all, really, who are homeschooled are just as 'in' as anyone else. I would just like to clear that up for you.
It is me again.
I just wanted to say that yes, he did take some plot design elements from other authors. But... the story is still basically his own. When you think about it, the difficulty in coming up with a 'new' plot is extreme. Do you have any idea how many books there are written on every subject imagineable? While there are similarities, he still made it his own.
I don't claim he is a prodigy. If you think he is smart merely because he was homeschooled, think again. As I said, homeschoolers are just as smart as any other people, so you can't say he still prospered under such horrible circumstances or any other such crap.
Sorry for my multiple posts. Now that I have read most of the comments, I see where Azrael and others are coming from. Azrael- If you are still on here, I would love to chat with you. I am only thirteen, but I am starting a book. Actually, at the moment I am only plotting the book, figuring out the world and culture, and... trying to figure out how to emulate my favorite authors without copying their ideas. You can email me at victory_the_golden@yahoo.com if you are interested at all.
