It's not even a matter of whether or not they keep doing movies, it's a matter of if when Paolini's dead and gone people will still rave about him like they do Tolkien. Whether there will still be masses of fans who reread his books every year as many try to with Tolkien's.

So, even if he is not dead there would be people that would remember the book. So far we can't determen but we will see soon. The author is young so there is along way to go, maybe but just maybe eragon is not the best but the new future books that he would create may create a fan club more grater that ours. The books would be something that we may never expected. He has many thing to learn and there is time to speare so he has the chanse to write something that no one has ever tryed yet. Lets give time and patience, lets not dicide what the future of these books is to become neader to christopher paolini.... ...

He may still become very good, you're right. But he'll be very sad that he published Eragon when he was so young and not very good at writing. You're right. He does have time to clean up.

Thanks for understanding. You may be right the is yong but because he is yong you can see that been able to write at that level even if there are mistakes he can still make eragon to look at his best when the final chapter of the trilogy comes. Don't put eragon down so fast, he still has hope.

Eragon still deserves putting down. My point was that he'll wish he had waited until he was a good/original writer to publish his 'brainchild.' Later books might become well remembered, but I don't think Eragon will be hailed as a masterpiece.

Your opinion desirves to be heard. Your opinion is yours, but know that eragon is neader that bad or perfect. is just a very good book, thats all. I would said that you better star looking that as there are people that hated so much the story there is a grater amount of those that don't. Legend may the book not came but the writer will.

I agree at some point. Christopher Paolini will probably wright a lot of books thatis far better then Eragon, now that he made that book great at a such young age. Maby just THAT triology wont be as great as LOTHR (tho i think it might) but its a big chanse that other books he wright will be.
However i will leave this disscusion now so please dont try to backtalk me :)
Good luck with the decussion/debbat.

THe thing on YouTube was an old behind the scenes featurette of Eragon that was pulled by 20th Century Fox at the beginning of the year. It is unknown now when the eragon trailer will premiere. I'll keep you posted though and we will post the trailer on M&C as soon as we get it.
