Burt Reynolds 'Deals'

Burt Reynolds is back as a cigar chompin (well that’s how we picture him anyway), card dealin’ poker shark in ‘Deal’.Variety is reporting that Gil Cates Jr. will helm and start shooting in New Orleans on April 3. Gates is also credited along with Marc Weinstock as developing screenplay.‘Deal’ tells the story of an ex-gambler (Reynolds) who teaches a know-it-all student (Bret Harrison) how to play poker. But the “ex” champ is drawn back into the World Poker Tournament where he faces his toughest competition – his student.Starring alongside Reynolds and Harrison are Shannon Elizabeth, Charles Durning and Vince Van Patton.
