Tom Hanks goes for Starbucks

If you were getting a little tired of paying lots of money for your non-fat latte every morning imagine this – Universal has just put down over six figures on a book that has not even been written yet – hoping to make it into a movie. Book is a memoir by Michael Gates Gil: a former ad agency exec who suddenly found himself out of a job.In his 60’s, divorced, Gil had a change of luck after he entered a Starbucks one day and walked out with a job. This act of fate gave new meaning to his life.Penguin’s Gotham Books will publish the book while it is said Tom Hanks will star in the movie version with Gus Van Sant helming.No start or release dates have been mentioned.
