Josh and Sam Resurrect the Champ

Trades are reporting that Josh Hartnett and Samuel L. Jackson will star in ‘Resurrecting the Champ'. Film centers on relationship between a young reporter (Hartnett) and a homeless man (Jackson) who claims to be a famous former boxer.
TV series director (‘Commander in Chief’, ‘Line of Fire’)Rod Laurie will direct the film which is being co-produced by the Yari Film Group and Phoenix Pictures.
Michael Bortman and Allison Burnett are penning the script.
No release date has been set however cameras are set to begin rolling in Canada in June.
