Sandra Bullock and Keanu Reeves presented the best art direction Oscar to John Myhre (Art Direction); Gretchen Rau (Set Decoration) for ‘Memoirs of a Geisha’
Samuel L. Jackson presented a moving montage of movies showing Hollywood’s historic dedication to presenting social issues.
Salma Hayek presented best music score to: Gustavo Santaolalla for ‘Brokeback Mountain’, BM’s first award of the evening.
