Elisha Cuthbert to Star in Indie Film Dot

Elisha Cuthbert ("The Girl Next Door") will star in and co-produce the independent dramatic thriller "Dot" for director Jamie Babbit. Cuthbert plays a popular and beautiful girl from a typical middle-class family. She seems to have it everything until a supposedly deaf orphan teenager comes to stay with the family. This new arrival starts events that reveal her family is not at as perfect as it seems.This is the first film from Burnt Orange, a production unit owned by the University of Texas hat is designed to produce features with students working alongside professionals on the set.Filming is die to start in September.Source: The Hollywood Reporter
