Ang Lee confirms Shang-Chi project

In a recent interview in Spanish newspaper 'El Mundo', Ang Lee confirmed development of a movie based on the Marvel Comics kung-fu hero Shang-Chi. Lee is attached as a producer on the action flick.
Announced back in 2003 under the working title of 'The Hands of Shang-Chi, the movie will be based on the Marvel Comics hero of the 1980's - 90's, a young Kung-Fu master (Shang-Chi) who learns his father is the world's worst criminal and he must face him in battle.
Slated to direct the film is martial arts master choreographer and director Woo-ping Yuen (fight choreographer 'Kill Bill', 'The Matrix Reloaded' - director 'Drunken Master').
